In this episode of I Choose Grit, I talk about a week fairly early on in my journey with chronic pain, when I experienced the most isolate week of my life. I then fast forward to a few years later, when I experience the worst week I can remember as far as the severity of my pain, one that included two trips to the ER and multiple sleepless nights, and one that I also oddly felt incredibly connected to and surrounded by my community. In breaking down the contrast between the two, I share a few things I learned along the way that I think contributed to the difference in my experiences.
